Lastest BOM modelling still looks pretty ordinary tonight, but tomorrow's not so bad.Current Brisbane forecast (1hr, ACCESS-C BN). This is the most granular model's projection - 1.5km resolution.
Torrential rain forecast during the game. Likely to change though. Next run due at 1:30pm.

Phins/Cows/Titans never struggle to get themselves up to play us. They can dish up a steaming turd of a performance on any other week, but when they play us they suddenly decide to get their shit together.I've got the same feeling going into this one as I had about the cows. Up agaisnt a team who's really struggling in a clash that has been hyped up so I'd be pretty confident the phins will come our ready to play.
I've felt our edge defence has been a little flimsy when teams have spread the ball from within their half. Despite the wet weather, I wouldn't be suprised to see the phins throw caution to the wind and throw the ball around a little. We probably expect them to play through the middle third so our defence may be a touch more compressed then normal.
I'd like to see us play a very simple game plans kick early to the corners and chase hard and play the game down their end of the field. If we get stuck working the ball off our own line for long periods like the last two weeks I think it will take its toll in the heavy conditions.
Also want to see us direct attack at Katoa and really pressure him when they have the ball. He's really their only decent kicking option so we can't be giving him or space. Kicking game is going to be huge on a wet Brisbane night.
Isaako put 16 points on us last time we met. He scored in the previous game, as well.I'm taking Arthurs over Isaako every day of the week.

He's really only maligned by us Broncos' fans.

I hope it recovers by magic round because its going to get 9 games played over 4 days on it then.Soccer barely does anything to the surface, it's union that does damage.
Yeah his dad passing away really wrecked his career here. Pure athlete tho, not much brains (Sorry Jamayne you're probably a switched on dude). He's a good player on paper, but his form fluctuates too wildly. Peak Isaako is awesome, but it's way to rare.
Arthars, you know you're going to get a solid to great game.

On form Arthars is above imo, I think Isaako has more ability though.
I'm not knocking Jesse, but I don't think Jamayne is the bumbling klutz many of us remember. You might need to have this one out with an actual Dolphins' fan, like @Mr FourexYou're right. Isaako is absolutely better on paper. He had plenty of woeful games between 2019-2022, which was frustrating because you could see what he could do, but he is definitely a player that is prone to the yips.
On current form, I'm still picking Arthars and not even second guessing it.
Jamayne was his worst when he was a Bronco. On the face of it, he's made every post a winner since joining the Dolphins. There has been moments when Isucko popped up....but generally few and far between. Been a great acquisition by the Dolphins. He'd be well valued by them.....I'm not knocking Jesse, but I don't think Jamayne is the bumbling klutz many of us remember. You might need to have this one out with

I reckon @The Don probably has thoughts about how bad Isaako can playJamayne was his worst when he was a Bronco. On the face of it, he's made every post a winner since joining the Dolphins.
