Round 4 - Broncos vs Panthers - Post Match Discussion

Hunt picked up a knee injury and maybe sidelined for two weeks.

Possible blessing in disguise giving Macca more minutes on the field?
I reckon they might give Baptise a run from the bench. I think it's a perfect opportunity to do it and see if hes up to first grade yet. I really rate him and if Hunt or Macca have a form slump again then at least we will know if we should make the move and drop on for him. Blessing in disguise IMO.

I wouldn't be against that option, I think Baptiste is a gun and has been well overdue a selection.

Hey, did anyone see McCullough throw a dummy? I thought I saw one, but then I was pissed. And for the first time, I thought I saw Macca start to think ... but then I was pissed.

Wow, maybe Macca will turn out to be the 9 we need. But then I was ... hung over.

As others have observed, as soon as the depth returns, and there were signs in this game it is, and given the relatively excellent discipline in defence, this side will start scoring a lot of points, and win a lot of games.

Players like T'eo, Reed and Gillett just need room to move.

I am most impressed with Parker's form. He is really playing well and seems to be keeping the forward defence nice and tight.

We need to lose against a top side to keep the momentum going.
