Well...at $1.25 million a year, running 150m a week = about $280 a metre. There is a totally useless fact.

I didn't say I wouldn't be stoked, I said I'd be concerned about the state of the game. Even if the Broncos aren't playing, I enjoy a good evenly-matched game of footy. Blowouts aren't good to watch - especially if it's your team doing the blowing, but even if it's not.

There was a set where the titans were caught inside their 20m by the 4th tackle.
Tino took a run right in the guts on maybe 2nd tackle and definitely should've been followed up by Fifita but he was nowhere to be seen.
Mo Fotu ended up taking a hit up on 4th luckily broke a tackle and got them away, but it shows that Fifita is very comfortable with his pay cheque and where he's playing

If Vlandys wanted to change the NRL's official position from one of wanting close contests, to a position of wanting the score lines to open up ... he didn't need to massacre rugby league in this country ... all he needed to do was scrap the salary cap.

I thought the Titans looked ok, they are playing the right style of footy for the new rules, sharp passing and fast, they just made too many errors and didn't take their chances tonight.
I am a fan of the restart inside the attacking 20. It stops cheating scum like the Raiders and Storm using the penalty to reset their defence, but I though they were cracking down on the and were going to bin players doing so. Therefore it is a failed rule because Annsley has taken the balls of his ref's to control the players on the field. Walker, binned or sent, Kafusi hit on matterson sent/binned. Piss off these soft rules and give the refs their balls back.
