I'd be lying if I said watching the Warriors didn't make me feel a bit better, even though I tipped them.

Watching possibly the most heartless inept performance ever from the Warriors ATM. Elliott has massive problems with this side.

Nathan Friend has 53 tackles at the 54th minute the next closest is 21.

I don't think Elliot is primarily to blame tbh, he's a decent coach, the Warriors mentality is just awful, if they don't score a try and get on a role, they just play garbage for the entire game.

Edit; Nathan Friend, 69 tackles, fair effort.

Cannot fathom just how horrendous the Warriors were today. Aside from Friend they were all abysmal.

Elliot is definitely partly to blame IMO, as the coach dictates the mentality of the team. You'd never see a Bellamy led team with that attitude for so many games. It's hard to know exactly what is missing though, because in terms of talent and set-up they have everything a club could possibly ask for IMO.

Vatuvei scored for the 69'ers... awesome work Warriors! :takdir:

Nice debut for Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.

I reckon he's going to be a real talent, definitely a superstar in the making.

Nice option from Wallace too. He really gets his hands dirty inside the opposition 20.

Strange finish.

Raiders had all the ball and territory yet couldn't get anything going inside the Raiders half.

Must say, was disappointed in Milford. It seemed like he never got himself into any position to impact on the play...it really limited the Raiders options and forced Campese to throw the hail merry which was taken by Idris.

Next up Dragons v Rabbits

Quinlan will partner Widdop in the halves.

McInnes will make his debut for the Bunnies off the bench.

I think Milford was still affected by the knock he took a few minutes earlier.

Dumb finish by Idris too. Siren had gone, he should have just died with the ball. Warriors showed last week anything can happen after the hooter and in that situation you have to kill the game. That aside though he had a very good game.

Not as impressed by DWZ as you Pete. He was good in defence but in attack I didn't see too much. It was very wet though, need more time to see him, but he didn't see as quick as I expected.

I'm not basing my opinion of him on tonight's game - I missed a large bulk of it but his form in the lower grades coming through has been very impressive. To score two tries on debut is nothing to sneeze at, I'd call it by any measure a nice debut.

Rabbitohs v Dragons has been a bit of a snoozer.

Rabbits clearly aren't playing with a lot of confidence but have been gifted so much possession that they find themselves with a 14-0 lead.

Hopefully possession swings around here so we get something of a contest...or the Rabbitohs step it up a notch.

I think we just wanted to complete out sets and get back into some form. We played pretty well but had a bit of a leg up in the first half from the refs. Still got a lot to improve.

Agreed.

As a neutral obviously it didn't make for the spectacle I was hoping it was going to be but I'm sure the Rabbits are just happy to be back in the winners circle and comfortably so as well.

On the panthers/raiders game. Seriously how slow is Idris? That intercept and 'run away' was papain fully slow. I reckon Freddie's run at the nines was quicker

Idris makes George Rose look fast. Penrith aren't that good of a team imo.

What a remarkable weekend of footy.

Bird nails a penalty goal to most likely win it against Melbourne in Melbourne.

Wow.

It is! 28-26 Titans after a controversial penalty to Luke Douglas who looked to have just lost it.

Now the Tigers are flogging Manly in the other game.

Is it just me, or is 2014 one of the most interesting seasons in some time?

Melbourne got absolutely screwed there. That penalty was unbelievable.

Unless Manly can pull of a miracle comeback, my weekends tipping will be 0/7 an the end of today
