Round 5 Historic Match - Broncos vs Cowboys

That was bad from Macca.

Goes for a scoot on the last, realises his mistake half-way through and lofts a bad ball to Locky, Locky has no choice but to hand it off and Lexi is tackled just inside the Cows half.

Cows make them pay with a great try to Bowen. He made a slow start, but Bowen has really stepped up this second half and has threatened on a few occassions. This time he strikes and Cows regain the lead.

That Thurston/Bowen combo has always been enjoyable to watch.

Some of the tries from those two in the seasons prior to 2009 were bloody superb.

Huge moment in the game there.

Cows receive a penalty off the kick off but fail to find touch and then give away a penalty to allow Brisbane to strike back.

K has played a role in 3/4 tries so far.

Jharal did well, pass went behind him, but Ty gave him just enough space to beat him on the outside.

How did Michaels bomb that?

The one time Parker puts in a decent kick..

Bloody ginger. The original Dropley.

There's that Macca kick I spoke of the other day.

Cows with another costly error, they've been their own worst enemy.

Unfortunately Michaels lets the Cows off the hook, that was game, set match there.

Both teams have come up with some costly errors in these dying stages.
