When is TPJ back?? I thought he was banned for 5 games which means he is back against Manly.
Got a 5 game suspension after round 1 which if my maths is correct it will be round 7.When is TPJ back?? I thought he was banned for 5 games which means he is back against Manly.
Wishful thinking but wouldn't it be great if TPJ could manage to not get a lengthy suspension by the time Fifita is playing again. A man can only dream.
Sorry but this is just shit talk. There's only one reason he plays the NRL every week and it's because Seibold picks him. Boyd doesn't get to pick the team.I have NEVER wished injury on any Bronco before and probably never will.
however Boyd can be the one exception.
I cannot believe his arrogance to keep going out there as a player and only put in 5% week in week out.
I feel sorry for Milford. The club has screwed him from the word go. We knew exactly what we were getting when we signed him: a brilliant ball running 5/8. He was then over-hyped as the next Lockyer - what a weight to carry that must have been, the saviour of the Broncos. Anyway, in 2015, after Bennett let's him play his natural game, he takes us the GF and is for mine MoM.
Then, his greatest assets begin to be coached out of him. His running game is squashed with shitty structures, then when Hunt goes he's not given a half back to work with until this year. He was expected to be brilliant with sub-par erstaz half backs, He is the club's fall guy for shitty recruitment strategy. He was used to clean up the disaster of Boyd at FB, he is instrumental in getting us home in the first 2 rounds this year, and now, now we bench him. Sucks for mine.
Hard agree.
That's the reason I've backed him every season. People (Bennett) expected him to be a great game manager whilst also retaining his dynamic running game. It was way too much to put on a 23 year old (Which is how old he was he was when Hunt left).
Now he's in this weird limbo where he's been conditioned to boot the **** out of the footy on the 5th tackle for the last 3 seasons because nobody else on the team could kick it further than 30 metres without shanking it. Suddenly Seibold is like 'Oh yeah Brodie will do all of the kicking now, so if you could go back to how you were in 2015 that'd be sweet'. It's gotta be difficult to completely change your style of play in a few months, which is pretty much what he was asked to do.
With all of that being said, he needs to do more. I don't care if he has bad games where he makes 3 errors and throws 2 intercepts, I'd rather that than him touch the ball 3 times per half. Seriously, he needs to be screaming at Turpin/Paix for the footy and needs to be running the footy at MINIMUM 10-12 times per game.
Maybe Seibold wants to send Milf back to reserves to rebuild confidence in his running game and forget about game management, not a bad tactic, except there is no q cup so instead he’s having Croft and Dearden in the halves and bringing Milf on when the opposition is tired and telling him to do whatever he feels like. I think Seibold is desperately trying to unlock Milfs dormant running game. I think he hoped last years move to fullback would do it.
Hooper said tonight on the big league wrap that he’s heard milf will be benched and dearden starts
Oates at backrow smacks of desperation and confirms what we all saw at the presser. A man who doesn't know what to do.
Mild on the bench is a throw at the stumps side on from the boundary..
Seibs needs to have some belief in what he is doing and ignore the press not react to it.
