There is a rather large rumour going around at the moment, not entirely sure if it's believable or where it originated.

Something along the lines of - The core group of players at the Broncos felt there was a "Media rat" in the team, so they fabricated the Gillett to Dragons rumour to see if anything surfaced in the media, and it did.. Not sure how much further it goes or anything, could be bullshit.

Not a good environment in the sheds then if that's the case.

Hard to believe Wayne would allow anything like that to fester though.

Some of you folks are funny. Did we play the best game of the year? No but remember that performance is much like life and it is often how you go when you are not your best. It is about having a medium baseline that is still effective. It is that way in training, business and even on the football field.

It is true that the opposition's attack is week. But it is also true that our pack was strong, Hunt played well as a hole, Milford is a star, Oates got over the line, Joe O keeps looking the goods and Kahu is one of the most underrated players in the comp. Clearly Roberts is dinged up and I have a few question marks on Reed as well.

That said, I am going to take the two points, not worry a moment about the quality of this side and wait for an even better performance next week. It was only a few years back under Coach Sloth that we might not have even won that game.

Heads up motherfuckers.

There is no doubt that we should have scored more points in the first half and that the Dragons horrendous errors at crucial times meant the final score flattered us but I thought there were some very positive signs last night. We talk a lot about developing combinations and last night we saw what that means in a practical sense. Against Parra in rd 1 Hunt was under enormous personal pressure and was the dominant playmaker and came up with lots of errors. Fast forward to last night and Milford is now the dominant playmaker and Hunt is able to choose his moments to get involved with much less pressure and his performance was much better. This is the blueprint to use going forward and come September this is the game plan that will deliver us the premiership.

the only thing i can think of with our attack is i remember a comment by wayne bennet at the end of last season when he was asked a question about our attack and he said something like our attack is good now and i haven't even started teaching them attack and the next week was the game against the rabbitohs and after the game he said now i have started teaching them attack so maybe hes just focusing on defence and has said to the boys to work the attack out together

I think so too. Apparently Wally said before the game that they aren't even working on attack yet this year.

Yep he said 90% of our sessions are defence and 10% ball work. He said he watches pretty much all our sessions.

Well, it worked last year. No reason to change it now.

Despite being a boring game, I enjoyed watching Moose play. He just plays like he never gets tired and always with the same intensity. Should be playing for Australia
