That's my reaction when I realise Hadley is calling the game. It's a conspiracy. They know the Broncos rate on a Friday but don't like it, so are trying to put people off. I'm slightly more serious than you'd think.

Without hodges/kahu/boyd we aren't going to have any luck going to the winger. which means our points will have to come from the middle and the edges. They have a fairly solid middle third too. Hopefully Milford's added confidence from last night converts to points from Parker's offloads. Gillett/Glenn and Hunt/Milford will also have to have some of the games of their lives for us to snag a win.

Yeah I don't think we can win this one, we've barely won against the Sharks & Titans in the last few weeks, our defence is the only reason we're 4-1, but that won't be enough against the Roosters.
Hopefully we put in a good performance though, I'm expecting a low scoring game.

This is entirely winnable, providing we stop the stupid errors and keep the same intensity in defence. I honestly can't see why others are selling this team short.

its a great time to play the roosters. we have enough wins on the board so far that a loss right now wouldn't be so bad in the overall scheme, but would probably serve as a good reminder of how much more improvement we need to make.
on the other hand, a win against a premiership favourite would have us FLYING. no doubt we need to step up our game for this one, hopefully we can put in a good performance.

Agree 100% ....I'm not writing us off at all. The team really hasn't got out of 2nd gear. A few more things to click and the Rorters are a real chance of going down.

Our attack is starting to look ok with a bit more shape to it, but I think our forwards will struggle against the Roosters pack. Napa and Evans on the bench too...maybe Garbutt might get his chance to prove he's the big boppa we've been waiting for.I think though that the trick to the chooks is shutting Pierce down and getting right up in their faces with a bit more line speed( which is something we need to work on anyway) would love even up on these pricks, I still haven't gotten over last years loss!!

Hopefully they get called on their forward passes. Refs seem to be cracking down on it a bit randomly this year. I hate the rule. If the ball goes forward it should be a forward pass no matter where the hands finish or aim or whatever it is.

Watching the game again today, Both times we got called forward I don't think they were...Milf's was flat and floated a bit but I see 10 of those a week and they get let go.
