This will be the first week in a long time that I am tipping against us. They way my tipping is going this year, mark us down for a win.

I am massively disappointed in this side. Not in regards to mccullough or nikorima (because no ones knocking down the door yet and these guys at least have a few very minimal runs on the board) but in the bench and fifita being picked in the middle.

All talented players but if the first few rounds have taught us anything its that our young and experienced 2nd rowers are 2nd rowers, not middle forwards despite their talent. And we have 2 rookie forwards for our middle rotation with a makeshift middle forward coming back from injury and an unproven and unexplosive rookie centre. If seibold won't bite the bullet and drop sua so we aren't totally depending on rookies in the middle, we need to gamble on injury and have a 4 forward bench. We are getting found out in the middle because of a lack of experience, it's easily fixable

Shibasaki is nowhere near as poor as a lot on here, who havent seen him play that much at a guess, would think. I think he would be fine, but we would have better options for a bench player.

Yep, I'll put my hand up and say I haven't seen him much (I have already said as much) but I just don't see anything special there at all. I REALLY want to be wrong.

I think a lot of the flak he is getting was from that ball he failed to pick up the other week.

Carrigan starting in the 13 fixes most of our problems!

Its another week that i think Seibold has again shown he isnt making the tough decisions. Play second rowers in the second row ffs.

Agreed but it still would leave problems on the bench. We need experience on the bench somewhere and shibasaki and sua when we have 3 2nd rowers already are just wasting spots

Mago, Fensom, even Tagatese would help. If we cant rely on players like Taga and Fensom in the position we are in now, then whats the point of bringing them in.

I think he is making the tough decisions. Following his plan despite all the shit being thrown.

I don't tbh. His plan has worked 1 week out of 5. I think its more stubborn than making a tough choice. Tough is dropping good players playing out of position.

What do rugby league professionals see in Ben hunt that I’m not?
