Dave deserves it. Baiting is against the rules too.

Let's cheer for Darwinism.

Was Beale ever really bad on the wing?? He seems pretty good under the high ball most of the time so I can't see why that can't be translated onto the wing.

I really don't like Glenn as a starting back rower. He just seems to lack any impact.

I'd prefer to see him in the centers TBH.

I agree with this, much better option in the centers compared to Te'o IMO.

Disagree. Glenn is really starting to find his feet in the forwards. His game on Monday was very good, it'd be silly to move him now and I don't think Griffin will either.

And Reed has shown himself to be more than capable in the centres. I'd be willing to give Copley a few games on the flank - I seriously doubt his presence will be the difference between us winning and losing.

Gillett would be a better stop gap than Glenn, if you wanted to head in that direction.

i think what we need doesnt really matter who is centre or wing..

we need someone in centre as the ball goes up who will shield the winger plain and simple.

hodges does it so yow yeh doesnt get bombed. they bomb our left side defence cause on the line the winger gets hung out to dry which ends up 50/50 chance for a try against us.

Who is this Big_Douche fellow?
Coxy is turning in to a cranky old bugger, but he always does it with perfect grammar and punctuation.

Just replace Teo with Glenn. I know it's a stop gap, but it's a good stop gap. I don't rate Copley at all at the moment in any position. To be quite frank, I don't really rate much of the young guys in our backline to be honest.

Beale - Good at Fullback, no where else.
Reed - Good on the wing, no where else.
Copley - Average in all positions.
Gagai - Ok on the wing and VERY raw. Not ready for first grade IMO.

So do we want to just chuck these guys in and see how we go? We'll lose a lot of games, inexperience will bite us in the arse BUT it might help us next year when these kids have some experience under their belt. (But don't expect us to go far this year)

OR do we just play it safe, gives these young guns time only when desperately needed (Origin time or mass injuries) and have guys like Glenn and Teo in the centres filling spots and aim towards a real premiership chance this year?

I prefer the latter.

Can we give the kid more then two or three games first before we write him off. I think he has been outstanding

Agreed. Am stunned by the criticism of Jack Reed. I think he's been our find of the season so far.

Reed at centre and Copley on the wing according to broncos.com.au

Good move I reckon.

The find of the season by far!! Its not only his defence and confidence with the high ball, its his geniuine composure throughout the game that oozes experience but is infact only beginning

Bingo. I think the only thing he's lacked so far is getting deep enough in attack and is then running a line straight at a defender. But that's not just him, that's the whole team and so I suspect that's a coaching thing. Trying to play a flat line, when really I think we'd be better served deep.

Happy with reed but hate him being on the wing just too slow. He has pwrformed well on the wing though

Has Reed really had a chance to show his speed tho?

I thougth he had no chance for his disallowed try but go closer than anyone thought (not the knights no try the other diving one)

Hehe yeah, that was spectacular. If he hadn't put his left hand down he would've been even closer...other than losing control of the ball.

He's not slow, he's just bigger and thus not as good on the acceleration. Even more reason he needs to get deeper and be moving at pace when he gets the ball!

thats what she said [icon_shady

Of course Reed is our find of the season so far....we haven't really found anyone else anyway.
Huge test for him up against SKD, who is very damaging in attack.

Rocky is just being stubborn with Reed because he's starting infront of his proposed Hodges/Te'o centre combination.
