Who's trolling? I'm merely suggesting that picking someone on the basis of carving up in the Under 20s is about as viable as picking someone because they carve up at touch football.

Yeah, then Glenn, Yow Yeh, and Mccullough are all useless players as well.

 They pretty much were initially. Took each of them a fair while to settle into first grade and none of them have been NEARLY as dominant as they were in 20s. Obviously.

Gagai will end up as our left centre eventually. Most would agree his defense needs some improvement before he can nail down a spot full time. I'm happy for him to follow the development path set by our coaching staff. They recognise his future importance to us.

If they were so usless why did they even get a chance to play first grade? [eusa_doh
Surely.. if they were so bad they would just leave them in the 20s or let them rot in QLD Cup like your bum chum Kempy? eusa_think

Edited by admin to stop further reports. This matter has been dealt with folks.

Ffs does every thread need to became a flame war,

Under 20s is glorified touch footy almost every player to come into first grade has not been as effective as they were in under 20s, does that mean we don't give them a go? Of course not but let's compare apples with apples

Only when Big Douche or AP is involved.

How does poor old Kempy get dragged into everything??

Maybe Kempy is a Bhq member?

Name calling is against the site rules.
Where are the mods?

Standard mod reply will be : "if you dont like it report it"

Pretty sure they have said that 100 times already.

On topic..

Beale needs to be in the team somewhere if hoffman returns.

Dave, why dont you pm them or click on the report button, or you could air the dirty laundry

Beale is hopless on the wing and the centres.
I think he'll go better on the wing than centres though.

Hopefully Beale can bulk up a bit and keep improving his defense, ideal utility IMO and could be something special. Will be on the wing once Hoffman returns IMO.

What's beales pace like? I've never seen him flat out

On Locky - He's out of form but he's been improving since his game against the Titans. I thought his game against Newcastle turned out pretty good after a shakey start. Absolutely schooled Macca at dummy half.

Gagai - I like what I've seen of him and hope he continues to kick down the door in NYC and work on the issues he had with his game.

Beale - He's said to be the fastest over 40 but I've never seen it. I'm not sure what it is, he does posses a really weird running style and doesn't seem like a natural sprinter like say Yow Yeh does.

Carney being out - Reminds me of when Pearce was out last year. Game still well and truly on.

Gagai has been killing it in the centres in the under 20's.
Chuck him in the centres!
Defend Reed in the centres though icon_thumbs_u
he needs to bulk up.
