[quote="Big_Dave":1hqmgdv1]I'm not quite understanding Griffith selection policy atm.
He picks Norman so he can fill in at fullback to shift Beale to hooker.
Both suck donkey balls in these positions.
He had a great opportunity to blood Baptiste while Hunt was out.
You would think Griffith would have some clue how good Baptiste is and how shit Norman would be at fullback considering he coached them in the under 20s.

If he was planning to play a fullback off the bench, why didn't he just pick Gagai on the bench?
He was far away the best fullback last year in the under 20s.
I'm not quite following his selections...

Hey donkey balls, his name is Griffin, not Griffith, he is of no relation to Melanie. I like a coach who is willing to try things, he is still working out his best 17 and along the way he has started 4-1. Get off Griffith's back!!!

Outstanding comeback there Big D. Your ridiculous posts are all starting to make sense to me now.

You are the one that is on his back doing him from behind if you think his selection of Norman to play fullback was a good one.[/quote:1hqmgdv1]

Are you guys for real with this? Who actually talks to people like that for no good reason??

Move on.

I was at training today and Beale said he is playing fb. Didn't see Kempy at all. Copley trained.

Ergh. Hopefully not on the wing.

Pretty sure it's more than just the weekend's 17 players that train at Red Hill during the week.

Not sure why that didn't occur to me. [icon_lol1.

According to sunrise Beale is set to join the rebels. Unless there is another Beale somewhere that I can't think of.

Kurtley Beale.

Ah darn it, why did you have to see that before I could edit it to something else.

Just saw the story somewhere else. [icon_frown

I had the same thought when I saw the headlines on Foxsports and then I opened the article to see it was Kurtley.

Looks like Todd Carney's out.

Yep.

From Fox Sports

Sydney Roosters coach Brian Smith has made some late changes to his side to play Brisbane Broncos on Saturday night, with five-eighth Todd Carney withdrawing due to injury.

Roosters captain Braith Anasta will move to five-eighth while Tom Symonds moves from the bench into the starting side. It appears Carney is battling a groin injury from earlier in the season.

Cool, i'm glad he's out.

It was only a matter of time until he and Pearce really started carving sides up ..... glad it won't be against us icon_thumbs_u

That strengthens their team IMO. Carney is a one season wonder and is suffering 2nd born again season syndrome.

Anasta @ 5/8 and Symonds in the back row greatly strengthens their attacking formation.

Anasta is too slow and cumbersome to be a good attacking 5/8th.

His strength is his running game, which our fringe defenders should be able to shut down easily.

Symonds coming into the side definitly strengthens their side, he's a real talent.

Agreed with Coxy. Carney has been terrible this year. Makes Lockyer look in form.

I dunno. Never seen him throw so many loose passes into touch, hospital passes etc. If I'm being honest, if Wallace did half the stuff Locky did this year I'd be screaming the house down.

He's been pretty poor.
