Oates was clearly our best player, i think the rest of them were all about the same. Very tough, very solid everyone played well.

The lineup was much more balanced today with 4 forwards on the bench and oppa as a specialist centre. Offa was great, Milford had really nice kicks and most important of all our ball handling was top notch.

The niko project should now be done. Tough for niko but it just gives this team a much better balance and much tighter defensively. These are the best wins when I think they'll get flogged but come together for a win. Well done all.

Sims and thaiday offer absolutely nothing, we would be so much better without them. Good win today though, really good performance from a bunch of the youngins.

Jack Bird in half was awesome. Our forwards looked hungry. They did great work on slowing play the ball without giving away too many penalties.

Ah ...best game of the season to date.

Wow. I expected perhaps a better performance than the last 2 weeks but i didn't expect a win. Was hoping for a win obviously but very very happy with that. If that doesn't give our boys confidence, nothing will.

It's only 1 win, not getting too excited. Storm next week. Let's fucking go!

The attitude and effort improvement was exactly what we needed, as I said in the live thread, we didn't panic when they hit back. We kept our composure and went on with it, doing what we needed to win.

The mix is good. I like it. Tommy it great at centre, solid player. Bird must have been doing a lot of talking and organising because our forward had direction and we were slamming meters up the fringes of the middle. Milf now has the freedom and space to do what he needs.
