Does anyone else think Broncos have been missing Maranta a bit?

No we don't miss Maranta. As soon as there is a 50/50 chance of a try and he bombs it but falling to the ground or running over the sideline everyone's memorys will kick in and say... "Oh that's right he's hopeless" lol... Yes he's been safe this year but that's about it!

This match is going to be a grind.

I doubt it. All it'll take is us falling back into Griffinball mode, which gives Mullen space and he will tear us apart. If Uate and Snowden are out, that'll certainly help our cause.

The knights are a team that play Bennett ball which is identical to Griffin ball. It is gonna be a grind.

Bennett ball......I can safely say that's the first time I've heard of that.

Newcastle love a grinding contest and it will be hard to win there next week. Will be even harder with Mullen playing, he made a real difference to the Knights today.

Oates injured and left the field.

Is it the shoulder?

There is a possibility that Boyd won't be playing.

Scott was in a lot of pain today, but he played on.

The last thing we want is an arsey win to further solidify Griffin's position. I fucking loath willing us to lose but this shit just can't go on.

Even if Griffin gets sacked, we still have Kearney. Our season will remain the same, if not worse.

Edit: Completely forgot we're not allowed to post this sort of stuff in this thread..

I don't know whats happened to the like buttons but ...

This, if Griffin leaves mid season Kearney will be guaranteed head coach ... unfortunately it gives him a chance to push for the job full time ...

if you think the complaining about Griffin was bad, just wait until Kearney takes over.

If the board decide to terminate Griffin, and honestly that is a real possibility, I hope they do it in a way that see's Griffin see out the year. Giving the board time to scour the rugby league universe for the best possible coach to take over. whoever that may be. whether it is Walters or not, what i don't understand is why so many on here seem to think he has done enough in his coaching career to warrant us hiring immediately without looking at all the options.
