Macca has been our best player this year, leave him right where he is.

the problem seems to be that Macca is now doing it for 80mins and Hook, seems to think that position 17 in the team is solely for giving Macca a rest. which must be why he rarely gets on the field ... because Macca doesn't need a rest anymore

Interesting suggestion actually and definitely possible. If that's the case though, the peanut needs to realise that he could still use that 17th player in another capacity.

Use Barba off the bench sparingly, or not at all (just as Oates sat on the bench for 80 minutes this week).

I can see him being brought on like Matty Bowen would be used in Origin. That was my thought when I said he should be picked on the bench anyway. Definitely could be used as an impact player.

Scott easily matches it with Paul Gallen in the all time biggest grub stakes.

Let's get a few things straight here - HOOK has NO IDEA as to what the hell he is doing - did you hear him in the post match interview - he didn't seem too worried by the whole affair - Has he learnt anything from last year about rotation of players and how the interchange works - ABSOLUTELY NO - why pick players in the 17 if he is not prepared to trust them to do their job and contribute to the teams efforts - what he will do come origin time - HOPEFULLY HE WON'T BE THERE THEN!!!!!!!!!!!! - IS TO EXPECT Oates - Hala - Lowrie to play for 60 minutes when he either doesn't give them game time of just 5 to 10 minutes a game
He also then wonders why the hell Sam and the others are out of juice in the last 10 minutes - hello
We all know Hoffman will NEVER pass the ball - he had 2 blokes outside him on Friday night in clear overlap space yet went himself and stuffed it up
We are blaming Barba for his poor showing - and yes he needs to catch the ball or attempt to but he was the same at the dogs from memory - yet Hook dumbo is getting him to play a sweeping role out the back because of Hoffmans deficiencies and we lose him in attack in backing up the forwards - we may as well put Ben at 5/8th and be done with it - at least he will pass the pill and have a quick stab at the attack himself but do not put Hoffman at fullback - stick him on the wing where he will score tries after we punt Reed and put Copely on the left side.
Now sit down everyone as you will only read this once - Reed did a have a tad better game on Friday night but only marginal - there i have said it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe stick Maranta at Fullback or one of the Nikorima boys there and tajke a punt - what have we got to lose - only another game or 12 or 18 which is going to happen while Hook is still in charge

QUESTION and it is a serious one - What can we do as members and fans to get Hook the flick - do we band together and have a mass meeting at Broncos HQ and confront Hook - Gee and White - maybe it is time we tried something - any ideas

+1 on the Beau Scott is a grub. A game a couple of weeks ago he kept coming over the top as the tackled player was falling back and deliberately trying to head-slam them. Because he was dragging them by the shoulders instead if the head is the only reason I can think of as to why he wasn't repeatedly penalised. I know Bennett likes an enforcer, but genuinely surprised he tolerates it with Scott.

Both are bad, but no way are they all-time biggest grubs. Has to be Les Davidson or John Hopoate surely.
