Souths are a level above most, and with such a weak right hand side I feel like we overcompensated to protect Prince and Kahu.

Bit disappointed in the forwards, they needed to lift but were completely out-played.

Good signs from Kahu at the end there. Good break out of nothing and did very well to set Maranta up on the outside.

Commence everybody sticking their foot into the Broncos.

We had terrible 5th tackle options tonight ... too many bombs put up with no variety at all.

Wea lso look pretty bereft of ideas attack wise, and a few times (well a lot actually) we seemed to have no idea what each other were doing.

We really need to get some decent attacking options sorted right away.

Well thats given me a bit of frustration and aggression to use this weekend. Honestly something needs to be done about Prince in defence, we basically give the opposition a tonne of momentum and a quick play the ball whenever they run it at Prince. We had sfa in attack and it seemed like a performance from the Broncos of last year.

Maranta needs to get sacked, bring in Kahu for him.

Griffin is also a dick for giving hala hardly any minutes, surely after 30 minutes of rest he could have come on in the last 10-15 minutes of the game? He was arguably our best forward while on the field tonight and he gets about 10 minutes of game time, it just shits me how underutilised he is.

Another thing, we start games very weak and Macca is too comfortable in his role.

I think we had a red hot crack and the difference was the terrible 10 minutes we played after halftime. Our last tackle options were poor once again. Prince and Wallace do some good things but they do just as many bad things. Neither of them are dominant halves IMO. If we had a quality half tonight I reckon we win. Thaiday had a shocker this week IMO. Pretty happy with how Kahu went. I think he has plenty to work on but he has potential. McCullough is a retard IMO. We look so much better with Hunt on the field. Maranta is a spud. I hope Kemp has a blinder on the weekend and gets picked.

Good effort. Most teams would've let Souths run away with that but we dug deep. Execution let us down but certainly not effort. If we went back to the things that have worked well for us over the last month we would've gotten closer, but it was just execution and lack of Hodges.

Was frustrated watching the game but to me it showed we can compete with the top sides in this competition.

It's disgusting use of a talented young player.

Look at George Burgess, not very experienced but fair dinkum, he's playing lights out. Gus was waxing lyrical about Sam, but if he keeps it up George will leave Sam in his dust in terms of performance. You don't see McGuire looking to limit George, just lets him off his leash and tells him to go steamroll the defence and do it over and over.

Hook sees Hala do it once and thinks, shit, better get him off before he has a real impact to our performance.

I'd be surprised if Hala wasn't completely shagged and that is why he didn't get much game time after his big stint. He hasn't played a lot of footy and is a big unit.

Souths won the game in the same fashion as last week, score 3 quick try's in the space of 10 minutes, where the opposition just can't recover from it.
