I actually dont mind a bit of arrogance tbh. I just think they go a bit beyond it at times. Just cant put my finger on it.

Penrith was where I first settled when I came to Australia but as my wife was a Qld'r and the Broncs had just started I thought new country - new team - I'll go for the Broncs. Penrith were my second side and I was there for the 1990 GF loss and the 1991 win. They have been my second team ever since. But like you I'm totally off them. It's the niggle and the subtle unsporting gestures that irk me. Their 5/8 changing direction to stomp on KniK's head last year was the beginning for me.

It's because they're NSW through and through. A talented group of individuals who are capable of playing a quality brand of footy but boy don't they know it. For all the bluster they really haven't always delivered in the key moments and when things go against them their true nature comes out.

Then to really seal the deal, Gus is their biggest cheerleader and he can be terribly obnoxious.

Eels starting to go off the boil here after a hot start. I like the way they're using their edge forwards, it just gives them so many options in attack and makes it easier to get the ball to their strike weapons on the edge.

Canterbury just being outclassed in all facets at the moment.
