POST GAME Round 8 - Rabbitohs vs Broncos

What does that mean?

Basically puts him in the same territory as Kenny Edwards after his dogshot on Jonus Pearson I think. Although he copped a $1500 fine but no points and was free to play.

It's just a slap on the wrist and a stern "don't do it again".

Five criteria: Where were you born? In which state did you first play the majority of the time between 6-18?, in which state did you spend majority of school?, In which state did you first play in a state run junior rep competition aged 15 or above? and which state did you first play league at a school representative level.

He's contractually chosen Australian and New South Wales. He's the Under 18 captain so can't change now.

His Mother is Tongan or Samoan iirc, his father is Filipino/swiss so I guess he could switch alliegence to one of the Pacific nations like JT2 if he wanted to.

I think right here was our chance to ice the game, but Oates just takes a hitup instead of spreading it. We had the numbers, and it would have given Roberts plenty of room to work his magic. I think we were a very good chance to score.

I actually thought that too

Sorry, don't have time to go and measure exactly. If it's 1/3 of the way in, my point still stands.

It was further away than that. He was only roughly 5 metres in from touch (give or take a metre), considering the second broken line is 20 metres in from touch and that's not even in line with the goal posts.

Also factor in dewy conditions, the fact that his calf was strapped and it was a close game where every point mattered which would have added pressure.

That's not a relatively easy kick. Plenty of kickers miss quite often from that sort of position and in those types of situations and conditions.

That's where Milf needs to take control. Could you imagine Thurston or Cronk in this situation.

Where is Milford in that shot and who is passing at dummy half?

It’s universally agreed that Hadley is shit. But he was next level shit this week. Constantly getting names wrong and the reason for calls wrong (calling dropped balls as penalties etc). The fact the he keeps getting the gig for 9 means he either has pics of someone’s wife, or Channel 9 has a serious contempt for their audience.

During the game, that was the kick that I recalled when Porthoz made his silly call. He nailed it with the commentator saying "right over the black dot" and I thought what a great kick, perfect draw shot.

Probably a little hard to spread it when immediately to your right there is a set of stupid twins in your back line.
Never mind, one can only assume that seeing as all but 3 of their players are offside, we got a penalty off this right?
Right?!?

I think Milf is back there in the green boots isn't he? No idea who's at dummy half

I guess this is where Milford should be there at first receiver screaming for the ball. There's no way the dummy half would know what's going on out wide so they took the safe option and passed to Oates.

You just cannot contain yourself, can you?

I would expect a right foot kicker to slot that 9 times out of 10, hence the "relatively" part of relatively easy.
And yes, I do speak from experience.

I’m guessing that was after Boyd’s kick return so it’d have to be Opacic in at hooker.
I think Niko is about three wide of the ruck with his arm up so he really should have been in there linking up with Milf but I guess it’s sort of understandable that there was no structure considering this came from a break off a kick return.

Good sides pounce on opportunities like that. That's a gimme 4 points for Melbourne.
