POST GAME Round 8 - Rabbitohs vs Broncos

That game against the Cowboys is ironically possibly the worst thing that could have happened to TPJ. It seems like he's trying to force another one just like it out of nowhere sometimes.

Just gotta stick to the basics, especially if the rest of the team keeps dropping the ball and giving away penalties too.

Should have take the early 2 and gotten the ball back. Could have been a huge turning point in the grand scheme of things.

Wow Boyd...

At this rate ill turn up at BHQ with my boots and play for free. Better than the junk being served up.

Lol okay mate. Who even said I'm not giving Seibold a chance? The teams not buying into his ways, at the moment and that's a fact. We are 2 and 6. That may change, we'll see.
You're choosing your battles again. I've admitted to giving him a season, you haven't. All you've said is "we'll see". That's taking the loser's route. You're digging yourself deeper, that may change, we'll see...

This was disappointing. The way we give up so easily when things don’t go our way, makes it very difficult to continue being positive about this mob and a coach that doesn’t see anything really wrong in his opinion is rather worrying...

Their enormous salaries don’t motivate them enough to care about their performance, nor apparently does whatever level of pride and dignity they possess.

Tough times at the moment. I think Kodi is only the start among the bloodletting ahead for this ‘team’...

I suspect the team will look significantly different next year. So I won’t be surprised if we start trying things soon. Things we wouldn’t do if this year held any promise whatsoever.

The hell are you on about mate? What losers route? I said things may turn around and change this season and we will see, which we will. I highly doubt it will change but I'm always open and hoping. If you're looking for an argument you won't get it from me. I appreciated our different point of views and can respect yours being different. I'm not in a battle mate.

I think we need Bird at fullback. He plays with energy and intensity and is trying his best to lead from left centre. If Roberts stays and Stagg can be our centres with Boyd pushing out Isaako. If Roberts leaves Boyd and Staggs and be our centres.

Than we need to tell Niko we were only joking and have him play bench hooker.

Lol stop being so butt hurt just because people on here chose to not live in a fools paradise like you.

I view and see things differently to you. Right or wrong, it is what it is. That's life sweetheart. People aren't always going to agree with you. Put your big boy pants on and deal with it. Stop showing how emotional and hurt you are over a rugby league team on a forum, you're embarrassing yourself.

I told you I respected your opinion and appreciated the differences in your views to mine and you still have a dig at me. Haha, it's totally fine, I was enjoying the debate but now just feel sorry for you. Thanks for the laugh.

Funny slip of the tongue from Bennett in the post game.

“We put ourselves under pressure at certain points in the game and I think the good teams will hurt us...the top teams will hurt us if we do that.”

Wayne, you cheeky old bastard.

Also when discussing how it’s only a third of the season and you can’t write off any team as a premiership threat he adds “you can probably write off the teams at the bottom”.

I didn't watch the game. It was my beautiful partners 30th birthday today.

She was so surprised I had booked dinner for 730, considering the broncos played shortly thereafter.

I told her its because shes special and I love her, and that she only turns 30 once... which is all true...

What I omitted to say was I made the booking knowing full well that the broncos were going to lose by 30 points to the WB led souffs team..

He’s been horrendous. I think he’s mentally checked out to be honest. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he pulls the pin.
Why shouldn't we hold our breath about him being dropped then?
Is it related to the impact of dropping the captain bringing too much dissent and roster discipline issues, or doesn't Seibold see what most of us do?

Hes also makes the most meters and scores the most tries. Are you serious ? Maybe hes trying too hard. You cant put this on Oates.

I am very serious. I wasn’t saying he cost us the game but my lord he’s so inconsistent. His best and worst games are one extreme to another. That’s why I’m saying he’s so frustrating.

To quote the late Bum Phillips " He can take his'n and beat yours'n and take yours'n beat his".

I don't think Boyd has checked out, but it's clear he isn't capable of influencing games from fullback these days. Simple fix for me is switching him with Bird. Boyd though is the least of our worries imo looking at last night. Roberts was terrible. TPJ was terrible, Oates can't stop making errors and we still can't stop making mistakes as a team. Work on the basics .

We need a forward leader, everything looking easy when we roll forward (like lastweek) but when the opposition makes it even remotely hard our forwards start looking into the sky.

Big ups to Dearden, great debut in a team that half the time didnt even try help him out.

Wayne inherited that team, yes, barring a few players he let go and brought in some new ones, but he got the best out of that team that was underperforming from 2012-2014 and made them great. I'm sure Wayne changed the way things were done, implemented new structures, new defensive structures etc. and the team bought in right away, making a grand final and almost winning it. My point is - we have gone backwards with Seibold. Why is this happening? Obviously the team isn't buying into the changes Seibold is bringing in, why is that?

This isn't a Wayne v Seibold thing, I'm simply making valid points and asking questions because at this point, I could care less who's coaching us because regardless, we are better than what we are dishing up currently and there's your positive statement from me, btw.

The thing is, we’ve been going backwards since 2015. This didn’t just happen overnight.
