So when Pies called Wayne Bennett 'The old coach' he wasn't referring to his age but simply that he was the previous coach? :)
It's not a nice nickname for sure but it's really kind of funny without being just crass, so something along the lines of the 'Roosters sombrero', or in that league.

my source told me that there is a big inside fight at the club atm, last week some of the players found out only some of them got pay cuts and the rest didn’t so there’s like a internal fight at the moment at the club with pay issues.

The club is as eager to shove the likes of Boyd, Bird, Oates, Milford and Ofa in the shredder as we are behind closed doors, but it also has an unhealthy obsession with keeping up appearances (they fail at that too.) so we just have to sit here twiddling our thumbs one loss after the other until all of them are history.

With Oates on the bench we should shove him in the middle of the park make him work his butt off to keep his spot. He's big enough and can get good post contact meters when he puts in so perfect chance for him to prove himself.
