Enjoy watching Manly lose as much as the next bloke but there was a 5/10 minute period in the second half where Roosters just kept giving away penalties on their own line and no bin.

Well, Manly were the better side IMO. Both weren't great, but refs kinda fucked them a bit I think. Some shitty forward pass calls when they were rolling, and when they scored I believe too.

It's like people in the media and dragons fans have amnesia..... dragons played exactly like this last year and they were the premiership favourites with everyone saying "things have truly changed", and then injuries kicked in. They have not had ONE INJURY to their top 17, NOT ONE...they would have to have the luckiest run with injuries in the history of the nrl to win the premiership. Outside of their top 17 they have no one, almost literally.. squads win premierships unless there is a remarkable run with injuries. The other side of it is, if you're te top team then teams bring their best game against you and do mountains of video on you. 2016 after 10 rounds it was a lock in that us and the cowboys would play in the gf again, last year the dragons were the real deal, 2015 we were a 100/1 chance of making the gf in the medias eyes...
