And that's the problem with all this pie in the sky, let's get DCE stuff. He isn't worth anymore than 650 yet to sign him you will HAVE to pay at least a mil, at least. He will get more than 650 to stay at manly and if he does leave it will be to go to some shithole like the Sharks or raiders who will give him a mill and a half

$1M is definitely too much for ANY player that's not as valuable as about 3 players in one playin in a key position (so only just Smith, Thurston and Hayne)

I'd give GI a mil a season....no worries.

Isn't Ben Barba getting like 800k at the Sharks? In which case DCE is easily worth 1mil.

And Blair was getting 500k at the Tigers. Which, considering his form there the first couple of seasons, values DCE at about 1 billion.
