[Rumour] The Hunt for Karmichael's return to Broncos.

What if the Broncos knocked him back?

Bit much asking him to never play Rugby League because he didn't fit into our future plans.

If KHunt goes and plays for the Titans he can go and get fucked as far as I'm concerned.

He owes us

we should be the only club he considers coming back to play for.

Totally totally agree. If he has an ounce of respect he would play for us or not in the nrl. We shaped the future around him and he pissed on it

Then that's fair enough, but you really think we'd knock him back (unless he was asking too much $$) ?

I could see us knocking him back if we signed Milford. Which would be fair enough with me. I'd love to see him back in the NRL though, we need as many awesome players as possible.

If he was asking for the amount he was worth, then yes I could, especially when we have other signings incoming.

I understand that some fans want a chance to forgive him but honestly I feel like the ship has sailed.

When he left I couldn't blame him. He'd achieved everything possible in Rugby League. But if he comes back for anyone else but the Broncos I will be ****ed off.
Dally M? nope.
Golden Boot? nope.
Captain a premiership winning team? nope.
Captain an Origin winning team? nope.
Captain a world cup/tri-nations winning team? nope.

really all he did was win a premiership and a few state of origin series/tests. nowhere near achieving everything possible in rugby league. players like Darren Lockyer and Cameron Smith have achieved everything there is to achieve in rugby league (apart from the Dally M for lockyer, but thats another story for another day). hunt doesnt even go close.

Make up your minds...

When he was rumoured to us couple of weeks ago, everyone said no to him, and now another club shows interest, all of a sudden you lot want him?.....

Locky didn't captain a WC winning side either from memory.

On Hunt, I'd like to see him in Broncos colours again but I have no idea where we'd play him. At this stage, we need a playmaker and I'm not sure Hunt is the kind of playmaker we need. Having a halves pairing of Hunt/Hunt would be epic though the commentators are bound to slip up and call one Bunt and the other....

The Titans would do anything to get him I would imagine. Their team is just like the Sharks they have a strong forward pack and very good halves but no backs to work it with. Their backs apart from the combo the halves and Idris aren't that much chop.

Not everyone said no actually. However a debate did rage as to where to play him and how effective his transition back would be....and of course his asking price. For the right price I think most of us would want him back.

Love their wingers personally. Speed and skill to burn

Well the, everything that most players will want to achieve. Premiership, Origin, Country. I'm sure most players that win the individual awards would trade it for a premiership & rep jumpers if they hadn't achieved it.

If we somehow signed him which I don't expect will happen I think one of the wing spots will be the best position for him.

After being out of the game since 2009 there is every possibility he won't be playing at the same level he was and the wing doesn't really require a lot of skill, a good winger just needs some speed to burn, a good strong running game, the ability to finish off a back-line movement and the ability to defend although having some game-reading skills would help greatly.

Some might call for him to play in the halves but he never played in the halves once for us and only played in the halves once for Queensland but got showed up from memory. Picking someone to play in the halves after only playing their once before and after being out of the game for 4 years and being made to play probably the most important position is to much of a risk.

Geez Bman.....the way you make out, even I could get a gig playing first grade on the wing.

I think your down selling the position a tad mate. I hope Josh Hoffman isn't reading this.....
