I have some news from my source who reported Barba and Milf weeks prior. A shitload went down today, apparently. All of this will be formally announced before Christmas. I will be posting across multiple threads: Milford, Smith and Kennedy ASADA.
This will be our line up in 2014:
1. K. Hunt
6. Barba
7. Milford
9. McC
14. B. Hunt
Apparently, Karmichael has agreed to terms with us for 2014. Length of the contract unknown, neither is dollar value. Whether he or Barba plays at 1 or 6 is still up in the air but I can see Barba being slotted into the 6. Expect the salary cap auditors to be crawling up our arse over the pre season.

He's made his millions (literally). He'll be back in the game he loves and will be pushing for the Australian fullback spot once Slater retires IMO. Is he as good as Inglis? He offers different things, that are more suitable to a team game.

We have no idea what he will want. He is no longer the qld and Australian fullback

Considering if he comes back he is not even guaranteed the Broncos fullback spot i don't see him pushing the likes of Inglis, Dugan, Hayne and Stewart out of the way for the Kangaroo jersey.
He was a very fine fullback when he left us but at 27rs old now, i think his window for being the no.1 choice fullback for Australia has closed.

He wouldn't be coming back just to be another player. He's driven to be the best.

Most aspiring rep players are driven to be the best, Hunt is not unique in that regard.
Thinking he could get the no.1 Aus jumper is just a big call imo.

Yeah it is a big call. While I'm not going to stick my neck out and say he'll definitely get the jumper, I believe that he'll 100% be working towards that goal and will be in the mix when the positions are up for grabs. Maybe not straight away, but after a year or two back in the game. And while I agree with you in that many elite players would aim to one day play in a rep team, Hunt has always had a kind of competitive arrogance where he simply won't believe that he won't be #1.

Do you mean Julian O'Neill? If so that was a while ago.
Only other O'Neill i can think of is Justin O'Neill for the storm but i don't think he has ever played Origin.

Oneill was 18th man, neilsen played origin and he is even worse than oneill so the point still stands IMO
