Our game has always had players using various drugs. We need to face facts. Like the Olympics Games have had a long term battle , so has our game. There isn't a game that is not involved in this battle. Aside from a very few sports ,they are all touched by drugs. Men's sports have been the highlight but be naive if you want but the women are in it up to their necks too. The drug battle was lost years ago and if you want to believe that our game was on top of it then Santas real too. The NfL in America has been waging war for years but we need to decide, do we care ?

We don't have the cash nor the will here in Aus to take on this fight ! The real hard truth is this, our players were injecting steroids twenty years ago in a bid to be stronger and bigger, a point I made repeatedly about the premiership winners of bygone years. Can our game be totally clean ? No. And probably never will be. You got to decide, can you live with that comfortable fact ?

Just heard that the "trafficking" part doesn't mean that he's been supplying to other players. Apparently if you pick the drug up from somewhere, take it to your doctor, and have them inject it, it's counted as trafficking. They're saying that this is all that he's done, but it's still 4 years +. But yeah, I would have loved it to have meant that he was part of what they described as the 'organised crime' side of things, and spilt his guts on the buyers. The faster they get it out in the open, and they will, the quicker we can move on and stop pointing fingers at players.

You sure sound like you're warming up to it. As a Cronulla sympathiser I suppose it's understandable you'd be trying to change peoples opinions on this.
