We're roughly 1.5 months away from NRL 2016, we're premiership favorites with daylight behind us, we've got the media saying Hunt is "filthy" with Bennett just because he can't play in a pointless pre season contest (what did I take out of that? Hunt is dying to play footy again and Bennett is steadying the ship) and half of LU wants to kill us so the wind is blowing in our favor folks.

This is a GF highlight reel made by a Broncos fan. It makes facing up to the reality of what happened to us tolerable and ends on a suitably hopeful note that is now looking like a sign of things to come. Watch it, heal yourselves and get ready to march again.

Man JT is a true champion. .

The way he seeked out hunt to console and congratulate him is just inspiring.

He's by far the greatest player to have ever played the game

Not just a great player but a great man.

If there are no mental scars then the boys deserve to be favourites.

Here's a thought! Let's stop talking about the "scars", the "mental anguish" and the "hurt". Let's stop lamenting, and start believing the boys will carve up 2016 and celebrate their success!

Thurston should have been fined and suspended for taking 6 minutes to attempt the conversion.

I appreciate the sentiment of the video, but I will never watch anything to do with that game again.

The only thing I re-watched is Oates' try, once, and nothing else.

I just can't do it. When I've caught glimpses of replays or heard commentary of it I feel like I'm going to have a rainman meltdown, smacking myself in the head and screaming until it goes away.

I thought I'd be devastated when the Broncos would lose a GF, let alone, lose it in the fashion they did.

But I didn't see the point in grieving. It was an incredible game of footy, the boys gave it their best effort and the ones that didn't looked sick to their stomach so I at least knew their heart was in the right place. I'm quietly confident the Broncos will go one better in the not too distant future and when they do I'll be there beltin' out "Don't Stop Believing" like a dopey son of a bitch. You best believe that.

Just had a dream that we won the Grand Final this year.

I was satisfied, overjoyed, with our season when we smashed the Roosters to make it to the GF. At that point we'd proven ourselves. A GF win would just be cream. But to be one tackle away, **** that. I would have been "satisfied" to lose by 12 points. But not like that. Never forget.

looking forward to R(evenge) 4 in a big way...

Aye. A loss I can take, but they way we did it was just a knife in the guts. Most teams have at least twenty minutes where they know they've lost. We went from winning to fucked in the space of 5 seconds. Still hurts and makes me feel a bit ill. I don't think I'll really get over it until the next premiership. Better to have been comprehensively outplayed rather than a hair's width from the win.

As much as it will always hurt, I don't hate the fact we were privileged to see arguably the best GF of all time, I'll always be satisfied with our 2015 team because they showed up in a big way and put on one unforgettable show.
