BLOODY HELL!
Kaz said:It doesn't surprise me he has quit, the players wouldn't have wanted to work with him, as I think they would think it was a betrayal.
Coxy said:I tend to believe him when he says the club management hasn't had anything to do with it. But I do think he got some major hostility from the players last week at training and has decided it's best not to keep going with that happening.
And THAT says a lot about the players, and possibly about Henjak for not telling his princesses to harden up.
Coxy said:And it's noteworthy that he's continuing his role in the front office in corporate sales and sponsorship etc. That's a sign management don't have a problem with him, it's the playing and coaching staff that have a gripe.
Coxy said:Webcke mentions the police instructions. He merely says he didn't agree. He's entitled to that opinion. He's also entitled to say he felt a bit wrong supporting the Broncos that night.
If the players don't like hearing it, maybe they'll think twice before playing up like that?
You'd have to think someone said something to him. He wouldn't do this of his own accord, despite what his statement suggests.
Coxy said:Although perhaps players and/or coach had a word with him anyway?
