Sharks under Flannagan

they should also be congratulated on their attendence last night... i heard on the radio this morning that the sold out for the first time in 7 years

I was at the game it was awesome and to give it to draqueens fans on drunk hill at shark park was good.

I like Cronulla, wouldn't mind them doing well tbh. They play a clean game, if we don't win this year I wouldn't mind Cronulla getting their first premiership.

I can't see them winning the comp, but I've always liked them as a club.

Their supporters have had to go through a fair bit of crap, so it's good to see some success finally coming their way on the field.

I like it when Cronulla wins. Good too see the underdog rising, hope they smack pathetic Parra on Sunday.

Flanagan has the Sharks playing a decent brand of footy this year. They finally have the class in the halves they have lacked for many years. Carney makes them a decent side especially with their good forward pack. I'd love to see them do well just to give their fans something after all the years of support.

They are my second team I only live 5 mins from shark park.

If cronulla do win a comp it will be a massive party down here.

Up set the broncos don't play at shark park this year

Too many teams in Sydney
Sharks are broke
st George illawarra service that region

Nobody will miss them

I don't think Carney has been as big a part of their success as the media lets on.

Gallen has been tremendous up front and he's received tremendous support from the rest of the pack. De Gois has given them a spark around the ruck that they've been missing since his departure in '08 and Wade looks to have found his spot in the backrow.

Dare I say it, I believe Robson has been better than Carney these past couple of weeks yet hasn't received any credit.

If they had better centres, they'd be legitimate premiership contenders. As it stands, I reckon they'll be lucky to keep this form up by June.

By actually watching the games.

No doubt Carney is more talented, but Robson has been playing well these past couple of weeks.

Well yes, THIS year we do. Last year Sharks had Snowdon and Douglas remember.

Yeah..but still

best pack in the comp last year?

Bit far fetched.....I would've placed either Manly, NQ and even the Broncs above the Sharks last year. After Gallen, Snowden and Douglas they got pretty thin

That said, they've started off the 2012 season very well. I can't help but wait for the inevitable crash.

Carney seems to be working out......Robson too. He looked like sh*t with the Eels. Sandows turn now....

I reckon the Sharkies are getting more value out of Ross, Gibbs and Fifita than they received out of Douglas and Snowden last year. Kade had that neck injury that prevented him from reaching his best and it was one of Douglas' worse seasons in 2011. J. Smith, Tagataese & Bukuya had their moments...but they're essentially doing the same/more right now.
