I truly believe we would have at least another 10 tries this season if JYY hadn't had that horrible injury. Just today, Maranta managed to bomb 3 and get another one taken off him by the refs, simply because they don't believe he is actually capable of getting the ball down in a controlled manner...

I'll watch this game again before I comment, because besides Maranta and Norman, I cannot believe how unlucky we are with everything and how grubby the Storm plays their footy.
Given I'm tipsy, I probably wouldn't be able to string enough sentences together to make something cohesive anyway.

Also, why are people bagging the halves today? They certainly got the ball where it needed to go, but they can't help they have a clueless winger on one side, a fullback that kills overlaps almost every time he sees them, players otherwise reliable drop the ball, and refs with double standards letting the grubby cheats get away with everything, while taking tries off us... Must be fashionable.

there was still a bunch of organisational fk ups that is the job of the halves. kicking game was pretty woeful as well. both long and short. all the ball we had down their end how many repeat sets?

i saw a play on the fourth tackle wallace had gone to dummy half when we were 5 metres from the line and prince was standing around over the other side of the field not paying attention. play died down from there of course. who's taking control of what goes on? thats just one example. 6 tackles in a set they seem to pay attention for one or two of htem and stand around looking confused for the rest.

wallaces attempts at 'creative' play are the dullest thing i've ever seen. absolutely no threat to the defense. prince is just out of the game too often.

I agree to a point. Our halves do get the pass where it needs to go. . . eventually, after forever and a day has passed. . . and after we have telegraphed it to the defence. . . and then after another eternity has passed. . . then our halves get the pass where it needs to go.

They are slower than a wet weekend.
