As been mentioned, if Reyno coming back is going to break him for good, probably better to get it over with.

That way the likes of Madden, Rogers, Black or whoever else is the next halfback gets a full pre-season preparing.

You have to bring him back if he is right with the state of the competition now. I was just going through the casualty wards. It is absolutely crazy for every single team. Even the really good ones there is guys out up and down the lists. The Titans are probably the healthiest and even they don't have Tino.

You just hope that you get in and you get some injury luck and go on a run and you never know in a 1 off game. Bit like us in 2017. I wouldn't say this is the best quality of top 4 teams ever. All have injuries. I mean Canterbury and the Sharks are 4th and 5th. I dont believe in them at all.

But if the Broncos finish 7th or 8th, it will mean that they have been red hot. To be in supreme form at this time of year means everything.

If they sneak into the playoffs, they will be a very dangerous team because they have form and confidence behind them. This is all "fantasy world" though. They simply have way too much to do in the limited time frame remaining. It's not happening.

Hence why Reynolds also needs to become Broncos long term halves coach... have him doing sessions with the first grade squad, have him doing sessions with the affiliates and most importantly have him doing sessions with the junior and development halves coming through.

You want to get and retain young players... Reynolds being a halves coach is a draw card to that.

NSW have been doing this for years with Joey, Matty, etc. running sessions with upcoming halves as they came through. I think they were doing it with Moses when he was coming through and he's almost 30 now.

The kicking game of young NSW halves is so far beyond the Qld equivalents... just look at the lack of kicking game from Qld halves like Sam Walker, Dearden, etc. and even Bhunt before he went to St George... everyone is freaking out for when DCE retires from origin because there's no one coming through with a kicking game. Qld halves seem to be able to run and play off the cuff, but not much when it comes to organising a team and kicking.
