Slater + Inglis Want To Join Broncos

Yeah, I'd prefer Inglis over Slater.

Doubt we'll be signing either though.

Like most other players that people on here have suggested we sign, it was just a case of someone imagining how awesome it would be if we signed the player they are thinking of, then it snowballs.

A couple of people on here who seem somewhat in the know have hinted at Inglis but even people who are "in the know" get told porky pies.

Bye Izzy!

Hannant we might get with the cap space we (apparently) already have, but I very much doubt that Folau's salary will pay for both Slater and Inglis.

Sims, Setu's and Michael's might though.

Are they all off contract at the end of the year?

Sims and Setu are... not sure about Michaels though.

we are apparently 300k under the cap ATM, so if we lose Folau, Sims and Setu as well we would have enough for Hannant, and at least 1 of Inglis and Slater, maybe even both especially considering that it has been reported that the Storm have to pay the difference under their cap to what they are currently on. so for example if Inglis is on 550k at the Storm and he signs with us for 400k, then that extra 150 still gets paid to Inglis by the Storm and included their cap.

Inglis? How anyone can ignore the best player in the world is beyond me.

Inglis is only the best player in the world when he wants to be

If we ever got GI I'd like to take him off his KFC diet that hes on at the storm and chuck him back at fullback. Unless one of our young guns really make the position their own between now and seasons end. Before GI beefed up I reckon he could have been the best fullback in the world if he was given a chance there.

Inglis would get the ball so much more at the Broncos.. We use our backs alot more than the Storm. Inglis is lazy but Bellamy should know he needs to be more involved.

Fat or lazy, Inglis does his job as well as anyone. At his best - no-one comes close.

Agreed.

He'd be an awesome pickup for us ....... Locky would have a grin from ear-to-ear if he signed up for the Broncos

Looked like GI was auditioning for Brisbane on Sunday, with his 9 missed tackles. Would fit right in like a glove.

Hahaha, good one!

Bahahaha. I want to see the proof that they want to join the Broncos.

Out of them all, I would prefer GI only IF he stopped being a lazy **** and started to get involved in games that weren't just representative matches. I've noticed in the last year and a half that his involvement has been lacking majorly in club games.

A highly involved Inglis is way better than having Slater or Folau.

But considering Inglis probably won't change, I'd take Folau over Inglis and Slater. We've got some good depth and potential in the fullback position, so we'd probably get more out of keeping Folau than just having Slater.

Sauces tell me that Inglis is actually not enjoying life down in Melbourne.. he's in a bad place- hence his woeful displays for Storm.
