Slater + Inglis Want To Join Broncos

tbh, this sounds like a trick coxy is playing on the forum or something.

Yeah I agree.
Still, the idea of Inglis at fullback for the Broncos is well worth dreaming about.

I'd rather the storm keep slater and inglis, and the broncos get cronk. The Broncos are going to need a decent player in the halves in the not too distant future

And Norman will fit there nicely ;)

+1. Cronk is probably my favourite Storm player, but with Wallace, Hunt and Norman the halves are looking very solid.

Super impressed with the way he played on Sunday!!

Yeah, I was super impressed with how he played at fullback in round 1 too....

He's still a kid, can't expect the world of him yet.

Getting GI would be one of the best signings this club has made in a very long time and GI>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Daylight>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Folau.
Can you imagine a centre pairing of Hodges and GI? Opposition teams will be shitting themselves!

unless in the same game GI falls asleep and Hodges snaps a leg.

Haha, it's like dejavu. Everyone was singing his praises in Round 1 when he had a good game, but dropped him like a Cooper Cronk cross-field kick in the following weeks when he failed to perform. He has another reasonable game and everyone is back on the bandwagon.

Niether Norman or Hunt, and to a lesser extent Wallace, have done much to fill me with a great deal of confidence that the Broncos will have too many attacking options once Lockyer calls it a day. I think they need to buy an established halves option.

We could always get Shane Perry he is going well in QLD cup

People were creaming themselves when the Broncos sighed Folau, but I don't that signing has really lived up to the hype. Folau has been good, but not great in my opinion. Broncos need established players in key positions more than they need another superstar centre/outside back. Perhaps Inglis at fullback, but anywhere else is a waste in my opinion.

I never once bagged Norman, I knew he would have some bad games and he is after all only in his First year of first grade..

Funny how our 2 best wins (Cowboys/Storm) both had Norman playing well.

I'd be happier getting Tonie Carroll out of retirement. Or maybe even Alan Langer. We'd be on top of the table if Alfie came back, that's for sure.

I never creamed about signing Folau. I even made a thread last year saying we really shouldn't of got him. Folau was one of the worst signings this club has made. We had VERY good players who all would of stayed with contract upgrades instead they all left because we splurged it an overrated winger/centre. Who is a very good player but he's not worth what he's being paid under the salary cap system.

Like others have said I would want him to play fullback but IMO won't see it happening but even at centre with Hodges on the other side it would give us a huge amount of strike power and unpredictability.

x 2. Both Norman and Hunt (and the other young guys) need to be given the time they need to develop into the great players I believe they will be. What they don't need is people expecting them to dominate and be total match winners from day dot.
