I never once bagged Norman, I knew he would have some bad games and he is after all only in his First year of first grade..

x 2. Both Norman and Hunt (and the other young guys) need to be given the time they need to develop into the great players I believe they will be. What they don't need is people expecting them to dominate and be total match winners from day dot.

But these kids are in a massive market, the development on Broncos players in the past suggests they should be game-winners on debut, and anything less, most Brisbane fans will be disappointed if they don't.

Getting GI would be one of the best signings this club has made in a very long time and GI>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Daylight>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Folau.
Can you imagine a centre pairing of Hodges and GI? Opposition teams will be shitting themselves!

People were creaming themselves when the Broncos sighed Folau, but I don't that signing has really lived up to the hype. Folau has been good, but not great in my opinion. Broncos need established players in key positions more than they need another superstar centre/outside back. Perhaps Inglis at fullback, but anywhere else is a waste in my opinion.
I never creamed about signing Folau. I even made a thread last year saying we really shouldn't of got him. Folau was one of the worst signings this club has made. We had VERY good players who all would of stayed with contract upgrades instead they all left because we splurged it an overrated winger/centre. Who is a very good player but he's not worth what he's being paid under the salary cap system.

Like others have said I would want him to play fullback but IMO won't see it happening but even at centre with Hodges on the other side it would give us a huge amount of strike power and unpredictability.

It wasn't directed at you specifically, but I see Inglis as quite similar to Folau. Good players when they want to be, but not consistent enough or playing in enough of a crucial position to be paid as much as some clubs seem to want to pay them.

Inglis and Hodges in the centres aren't going to mean anything if they don't have a decent forward back to get their team going forward, and halves to get them decent ball.

If the Broncos could get him at a decent price, then sure go for it, but surely the whole Folau saga shows it's not worthwhile losing a number of decent players just to replace them with a single high costing superstar (not that that is exactly what happened in Folaus case, but that was the net effect)

Similar to Steve Michaels, but he has a few bad games, and gets crucified.

LULZWUT??

Again, I have never crucified Steve Michaels - I am still a supporter of his, but fear he will never really get another opportunity to regain his pre-knee injury form.

However - let's get back On-Topic. Inglis/Slater

The majority of Broncos supporters only stick by players who are playing well

By the way, my posts haven't been directed at those who I have quoted, just more a general observation of many opinions on here

Not really in any specific order, as you could almost rearange at will...

1 - Hodges (how much longer the Bronc's can stand by his injuries I think may be tested)
2 - Folau (something crazy in me says he's staying)
3 - Inglis (Dreaming)
4 - Gasnier (just throwing it out there)
5 - Winter/Yowwwyeah blah blah blah

Deadset guarantee we'll be talking to them long before that, no matter what the rules say.

Well then if we have to break the rules to get them then i dont want either of them. Puts us in the same boat as the storm if we start breaking rules.

What ever happens please please please dont sign tate.

Same boat as the Storm. Absolutely it does. Talking to players at a club who can't confirm or deny that they will be using their services next year is exactly the same as rorting the caps for the past 5 years.

[icon_lol1.

Donny, there obviously wouldn't be official talks happening, but I reckon if we're interested, Greg Inglis would have been told a fair bit about it.

You know it doesnt even come cloose to what the storm have done. If you read it properly it was implied that the Broncos would talk to those players regardless of the rules that have been put in place to stop it from happening, the point i made was that if we talked to those players and it was against the rules then we were in the same "boat" as melbourne which is "not following the rules"!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we dont follow the rules we are cheating and in my book, if you cheat by a lot or cheat by a little your still cheating. :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:
