No competition between Reed and Roberts imo. Reed was ultra consistent, Roberts was a lazy drunk who relies purely on his speed to do anything.

If you're picking them at their peaks, I'd throw Marshall and Barba into that mix. Not that we ever saw the best from them.

Still picking Reed. He knew how to put his winger away. The combo he had with Hoffman was the best in the NRL one year. **** he even got Maranta 15 tires in a year one season. For all Roberts good attacking play he is a terrible defender.

Peak Roberts never really played for the Broncos.

Kind of how I read it too. If we're going off peak regardless of club, then Prince or Marshall gets in over Hunt and peak Barba gets in over Boyd I think. Ennis over Macca etc.

I've always had a soft spot for Reed though tbh and I went sour on Roberts well before he left.
