South Sydney look into alleged attack on coach Jason Taylor

Yeah, I tend to agree. Like internet articles are any more reliable than radio reports?

Mentioning what radio station it was on and when is mentioning a source. That's all we can ask.

I never mentioned any players in my post. I did mention the coach.

I will consider it, if you are nice to me. [icon_razz1

As long as people don't post by saying, is that all you do is listen to the radio.

I don't really want a take down notice, so please, just do it.

Hey, I can hear the radio all day too. 882AM, surely you can't beat that.

ANy club that lets this incident happen should be kicked out of the game.

But Kaz also needs to learn to provide a link to the source if she has a rumour like that.

Is quoting Hammo as a source sufficient enough?

Jason Taylor's future as South Sydney coach hangs in the balance after he slapped David Fa'alogo on two separate occasions before being felled by the Kiwi second-rower during the Rabbitohs ''Sad Sunday'' festivities in Surry Hills.

Taylor jokingly slapped the majority of his playing squad in the face during the Rabbitohs' end of season drinks at the Forresters Hotel on Sunday. But while most of the players accepted his actions in jest, Fa'alogo took offence and punched Taylor in the head, according to independent witnesses.

It was a pretty stupid thing to do. Joke or not, with alcohol involved there was always a risk of it escalating.

I can't beleive some of the souths players shamed themselves like they did. Michael Crocker defusing volatile situations??? I've lost all respect for the guy

All I can say is atleast none of the players did the following -
* Took a dump in a hallway
* Got caught shirt less at some hour in the morning
* Had sex with a chick in the toilets while others filmed/took photos of it
* Punched or glassed a female.
* Had a fight with the bar manager/owner/security
* Drove while intoxicated
* Had a fight over a girl and assaulted someone because of said girl
* Went home and tried to get it on with a minor.

It is a bad image for the club and alcohol is clearly the problem in the situation, but really the whole thing was a nothing issue. Fa'alogo over reacted to something minor, but then again alcohol clouded JT's judgement, on if Fa'logo didn't like it the first time it would probably be in your best interest not to do it a second time.

In all seriousness though the amount of times The Rock and I have done stupid stuff like slapping each other when under the influence of alcohol. Yet, we have never turned around and decked the other person in the face because of it. I consider us to be good mates, but these guys see each other pretty much everyday for the footy season. It just seems like such a weird reaction to me.

Either way, after this whole thing blows over, Dave will be heading to the UK.

Because seeing a man without a shirt can cause spontaneous fainting, which can result in severe head trauma when you fall to the ground.

Much more dangerous than punching someone.
