Oh for sure, but I think we even said on the weekend that it's no surprise such things happen when you look at the record of their owner. So I guess he had to apologise and take some responsibility and state that as the owner he had a responsibility to ensure everyone at South Sydney understands their responsibilities, and "do as I say, not as I do" kind of thing.

There's been a lot of rumors floating around in the past that JT isn't really adverse to this sort of stuff. I think he's had more than a fair go at Souths, I'm not one for sacking coaches but he has failed to build on any of the improvement they have made over the last few years.

I doubt Dave would have had anything written into his contract about Taylor being the coach and if not, he could leave (or not go at all). I don't think Taylor is the sort of coach you would be desperate to play under and who would sway your decision as to whether to go to a club or not.

Why is that funny? i really rate Lang as a coach. He takes teams that are at the bottom of the table and turns them into premiership contenders.
