SPOILERS!!

Oh yeah, forgot to add, one of my favourite moments from the game was when Winterstein collected that ball in-goal on the run and then sprinted back into the field of play.

That is what's been lacking these last few weeks.

Yeah, that was the best play of the game. It just showed how committed he is, and should buy him a few more games too.

Anyone miss Michaels? Nope? Good.

Apart from everything else, it was great to see the guys smiling and enjoying their football. They have a long way to go but definitely a great start.

Stop speaking about all these insginifcant issues. Lets speak about the real stuff, the Broncos will win the premiership in 2009!

Lets all get behind them and support the team!

Any chances Tunza will play on? Huge shame we're losing Taylor as well.

If Taylor continues his good form and sets the platform for a premiership in 2009 I'd happily send him off, and say he finally delivered for the club. The saddest thing about his departure is the potential he has shown at the Broncos and that we won't get to see it reached here. Here's hoping he returns in 4 years time when we might have a bit more money to offer him and he's the finished product.

Good to hear the crowd gettin gthe bullshit chant going.

Glad to hear that came through on the tele - it was farking loud! [icon_lol1.

Much improved performance in the second half, but the first half was nothing to write home about. It may have been against the worst side in the comp, but we needed it badly. The best part for me was the fact that between the 6th and 79th minute it was 30-0. HUGELY improved performance defensively - the boys put in a lot of effort and that's all that we, as fans, can ask for.

Regardless of whether we win or lose in the coming weeks and whether or not we make the finals, if they keep having a serious dig and put in the effort for their teammates, I'll be content as we look towards 2010. If our form continues to improve, though, we could still scrape in to see action in the finals [icon_pray.

Above all else, a massive [eusa_clap.gi for the forwards. Te'o, Sims, Kenny(!), Thaiday(!!), Carroll and Parker all put in very decent performance despite a few handling errors here and there. Hodges is still a bit of a tool IMO, but jeez he's dangerous every time he has the ball. Thought K was much improved last night too.

I stand by what I have said for some time now - BHQ is harsh on Teo icon_thumbs_u

Why? Because he's had one good game? It doesn't change the fact he hasn't put enough effort in this season and really needs to lift his game or he can forget about staying beyond next year.

Ditto Setu (who was also better last night than he has been).

Let's see the team put together a string of performances where they actually put in the effort and see where it gets us.

Good to get a win.

I was listening to it on the radio, and with 5 minutes to go they started to play the Benny Hill theme because it was so farcical, so I guess we've got some improving to do between now and Sunday. Eek!

I reckon Ben Teo be shafted. This guy has no passion for the Broncos. He's full of himself and one good game doesn't make a season!

A few things from that game:

- It really was a retard fight. One of the lowest quality matches I've seen in a long time.
- Justin Hodges straight after half-time..........wtf was he doing? Why didn't he pick up that bouncing ball a metre out from the try line instead of letting it bounce over the sideline!?!? If he picks it up, guaranteed try to him. WTF!?
- Ashton Sims was running like a man possessed! He was absolutely chargin' onto the ball! Good to see.
- Thaiday seems to have eliminated the Bennett-coached 'run directly back at the markers' play from his game FINALLY!!
- Dave Taylor should've played like this 12 months ago, then maybe he wouldn't be going to the dreamtim.....I mean rabbitohs.
- Nick Kenny has to be in the team if we want any hope of winning. He has impressed me to no end this season. I always thought he was a bit of okay, but he (like Boyd did last year) just improved in leaps and bounds and showed that he could be something special.

Agree on all counts. I actually thought when Sims came on it lifted the team. We started getting some good go forward and momentum. Was good to see.

Re the Hodges thing you were saying, I think he was very close to the sideline and figured if he picked it up he'd be easy to bundle into touch so thought it best to go into touch and get the scrum.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, but surely he would've known that the sharks player knocked it on so it would've been a scrum-feed to us if he did get taken in to touch? Maybe I'm over-estimating his on-the-fly thinking skills [icon_lol1.
