SPOILERS!!

Hodges situation is tricky. If he had of picked it up and knocked on I believe we still would've had advantage because the knock on occured in the in-goal as opposed to two metres out where Hodges was standing. Never the less knowing Cummins last night he would've found a penalty against the Broncos somewhere in there.

As for Te'o he's had a few good games this season. Round 3 against the Warriors and then he had a nice stretch from the Manly game up to the first bye. Since then he's been nothing but soft.

I think Parker has adopted the running at markers trick, I think I saw him do it twice and both times it didn't really achieve much.

Glenn is a pretty terrible centre IMO. It's a shame Michaels isn't in form as he's going to get exploited sometime soon.

YES!

Finally someone other than Tee and I see it! [icon_lol1. All he has is a hit and spin, which is always pointless because he never has the ball positioned to offload so it's just a waste.

He works hard yes, but he's a nuffy in attack.

LOL.

Yes, in social oztag you would've taken the gamble I'm sure ;-)
Sure would've :)

There really was no gamble though - the Sharks blatantly knocked on, there was no room for us to get an advantage - we either score, or its a Broncos-fed scrum.

Unless the Ref was to make a boo-boo, which I suppose is a pretty big possibility these days.

I stand by what I have said for some time now - BHQ is harsh on Teo icon_thumbs_u

Why? Because he's had one good game? It doesn't change the fact he hasn't put enough effort in this season and really needs to lift his game or he can forget about staying beyond next year.

I disagree. I think he has had more than one good game and that his form isn't as bad as what people on here seem to think.

I agree with you. I am a fan of Te'o.

Man people must've been watching a different game.

Anyone who is giving taylor wraps has fucking rocks in their head. Yes, he played ok in the 2nd half but the first half he spent more time in the centres than Hodges!

I reckon he honestly took about 4 hitups in the first half. Lazy lazy lazy. It's easy to play 40mins when you don't do anything, hey Dave? :)

We were ok, but our defense still has major concerns. We're still coming up as a jagged line and freezing, waiting for them to come to us.

Against any good team, we would've been cut to shreds. We were basically playing a park football team in Cronulla..

So yes, it's nice to get a win but let's look at things realistically.

That's all well and good Renegade, but coming off a 56-0 loss, did you really expect much more???

I expected us to show some heart and we did - but I'd rather maintain a realistic point of view.

The quality of that match was so poor in so many parts I think outside of the two points, and some heart shown, that there is very little to take out of that match.

No point sticking our heads in the sand just cause we won a game.

We have taken 10 steps back, this is a small step forward and encouragement. Yes we have a long long way to go and even if we win again sunday we will still have another 8 steps to go.

A lot of negativity on here of late so some positiveness is a good change Renegade.

Agree with both sides. Take the positives that are there, but talk of winning 3 or even all 4 of our last games is ridiculous based on that.

Let's see how we go against Penrith. One game at a time.

Taylor was playing wide under instruction and Parker playing tighter instead, at least thats the way I saw it.

It's a good idea too, in order to make the second man play effective there has to be a danger with your first option which is the case with Taylor and not at all with Parker.

Going to be tough for Glenn to make the correct defensive decisions against the better teams but I hope he goes well.

Parker - he also loves the pirouet move but he's not really good at that either. I tell you who is though - Benny Hannant. He uses this move quite well.
