Croft might be back but i believe we will be safe and just play dearden at 7 for this game.
The dropped ball epitomises why he needs to go. He is a hooker and he is never prepared for a late offload, and even when he catches them he never knows what to do with them.
Obviously I'm not just getting at him over one dropped ball. The cleanout has yielded great results so far, important not to lose our nerve now.Haas, Croft, Arthars, Oates and Issako all made handling errors in our first game. Dropping a ball doesnt automatically mean you have played badly.
I dont think Macca has been great really, Its clear to see why he shouldnt be starting, but its a bit of a beat up getting at him last night just over a dropped ball. He wasnt poor, pulled off a really good tackle that probably stopped a try.

im hard for staggs...just sayin
Yeah, it's interesting. Souths game we dominated possession and created repeat set after repeat set. That has got to have both a psychological and physical toll. Are we making them look bad? or are they just bad?Cowgirls and Souths have been pretty poor in the games we have played against them. I'm interested to see if thats down to our game our them being off theirs.
I had a Greek girlfriend once and I just can’t do anyone with a moustache again. He’s a very good footballer though.im hard for staggs...just sayin

Yeah man I was quite surprised he did that. Thought for sure he would have put Turps into half and Macca at 9. But after he took him off it really worked out. Good on ya Seibs! Poor old Macca just didnt want to be on the field and it showed in his body languageSame. Once he was hooked as an unlikely halftime interchange he knew it. . Especially since it proved to work.
Moving your strike centre after scoring two tries in his preferred position, to accommodate how shit you are, says a lot! Not many coaches would try that.. but seibs did. He made that HUGE call. And yeah, it proved a great call!
Most of that coincides with us losing Croft (and with him all organisation of right side edge defence) thoughwe scored all our points except 2 with Macca off the field, and every point scored against us was when Macca was on the field. I know its ridiculous to suggest but it could be a weird psychological thing amongst the playing group? "Macca makes so many tackles through the middle rah rah rah we can chill out a bit."
Again, I dont even know if i believe that, but I have played with players like that .. like when your star player comes back from injury and the team becomes reliant on him and loses its cohesion a bit. Not that maccas the star player by any stretch
Nah, on form and with this roster we should win BUT the teams cohesion has been disrupted with Crofty out. I'd be satisfied with a 12 point win. I'm most interested in the teams attitude and application. If we have the correct mindset I'll be extremely pleased. I have always admired the Storm for their consistency in beating the bottom rung teams and that's what I hope to see.Should win this by 50
lol. That's gold
