When was the last time Brisbane lost in the Gold Coast...I can't remember the last time...it must be years ago. Our recent record at home against them is shit. I expect to win this one.
This is a game we really need to win if we want a shot at making the top 4.
We have to beat teams which Finnish down the ladder because the top teams invariably do.
Also we don’t want give back any of the ground we have achieved with our good start to the season.
C’mon broncs. [emoji206][emoji206][emoji206]
glenn should be back toI'd drop Kennedy, but unfortunately, Bullemore is a development player, so he'll be out
he didn't confirm Coates at all.... He did confirm Dearden (that doesn't take sherlock to figure out).... he said either herbie or coatesSeibs confirmed in the post-game presser that Dearden & Coates will come in next week with Croft & Oates both doubtful.
I'd expect Coates to start on the left wing with Farnworth to remain on the bench (Given his ability to cover 1-5, whereas Coates seems to be a specialist winger)

yeah but you can't exactly keep both him and a utility back... the broncos can't start chucking bench calibre forwards in the q-cup.... in 3 weeks time the broncos will have a full strength forward pack apart from lodge... Haas, Flegler, Glenn, Fifita, Carrigan, Pangai, Joffa, and Hopoate (I reckon you get more out of hopoate than either McCullough or Farnworth).Haas, Croft, Arthars, Oates and Issako all made handling errors in our first game. Dropping a ball doesnt automatically mean you have played badly.
I dont think Macca has been great really, Its clear to see why he shouldnt be starting, but its a bit of a beat up getting at him last night just over a dropped ball. He wasnt poor, pulled off a really good tackle that probably stopped a try.
no he said either coates or farnworth than went on too say that coates played well in the q-cupIncorrect.
He said Coates will come in for Oates assuming he's out with his rib injury, up in the air who would start out of Coates & Farnworth. Whoever doesn't start will be on the bench.

That is a fucking solid teamI think we need a hooker on the bench. Turpin just isnt capable of playing 80. I think at full strength this year we go something like
1 Issako
2 Oates
3 Boyd
4 Staggs
5 Arthars
6 Milford
7 Croft
8 Lodge
9 Turpin
10 Haas
11 Fifita
12 Glenn
13 Carrigan
14 Macca or outside back
15 TPJ
16 Joffa
17 Flegler
The 14 is going to be really what Seibs looks for. Glenn can cover hooker, but i'm not sure we want him on the field for 80 either.
Clever bastard. One of your best!Absolutely we have to beat teams which Finnish down the ladder. Norway we can call ourselves top 4 material otherwise.
Given AFL just pulled their competition, I can’t see this game happening until June. Shame, as we were due to thump someone by 50.
Suspension of the competition might be beneficial for us... Croft and likely Glenn would be back, Offa is back and Lodge would be getting closer to returning.Given AFL just pulled their competition, I can’t see this game happening until June. Shame, as we were due to thump someone by 50.
