Although they're forgetting that a different figure of $750k has also been thrown around which is the same as what Sharks are apparently paying Dugan to play centre... or play rehab which seemed to be his position last year.

I'm not against Bird playing 5/8. I thought the Broncos looked good with Bird & Milford in the halves when we played in NZ. It's certainly not the worst suggestion.
