FARK! It has been our own fault again just like Barnes, guys this talented need to be given time in first grade early or they will leave for better offers.
 
he hasn't been released at all, hes allegedly signed a 3yr deal with souths starting next season, the broncos would be stupid to release him when they are still paying him, and it only weakens our depth for this season....
 
New coach, same sh#t! He would have been a star, what a farking waste this is. Sure he had some weight problems but the guy is one of the best prop talents the game has seen in a long time and he kept getting dropped. Just like Barnes he will end up a great player plying their trade for someone else when all we had to do is show him we needed him.
 
this could be a ploy to get the broncos to offer him more money, similar to that rules where the broncos can still keep him until round 14 or something???
 
On the plus side, it might be a little easier to re-sign Hunt now. :oops:

Disappointing tbh, but with Souffs offering him 350K (or whatever it was) there's nothing we could have done (assuming we put him in QLD Cup BECAUSE he said he was going to sign with them). Souffs signing him and Crocker is a little suss though.
 
He's gonna hit a dead end down there, disappointing.

It was always going to be hard to keep him but it's still annoying.

Oh for sure it is, however he is too good to just waste away and a smart coach will somewhere along the line make him into an elite prop. Our management pisses me off so much sometimes.
