What happened to the time when guys like Jones, Border and Healy were given a tap on the shoulder? Current selectors are weak.

Speaking of that trio, I think Jones was hard done by. Border's time was right, and it was only messy due to a misunderstanding as the ACB was determining a succession plan - Captain Cranky thought the wheels were in motion to get rid of him. Healy....well that just plain sucked. So much hype about Gilchrist and so they unceremoniously dumped what I think was the best wicketkeeper of all time (I still think gloves wise he was far better than Gilchrist became).
