What skills, he's 171cm would be a liability under the high ball, if anything he is a ball running half.

there have been plenty of successfully fullbacks of similar stature to Kodi, besides he didn't prove a liability when he filled in there this year ...

Bennett also clearly has his doubt about whether Kodi has what it takes to be a long term half for us moving forward, otherwise he wouldn't have shifted him to fullback when Boyd went down or chased Taylor so hard.

@Nashy Matt Bowen is 175cm 85kgs Niko is 174cm 85kgs.

I don't think Knik should be fb, but some other data points from the two greatest fbs of all time:

Clive Churchill 175 cm, 66 kg. Billy Slater 178 cm, 89 kg.

You rarely hear about fullbacks, or a back 3, being too tall and being vulnerable to low kicks and grubbers - yet this happens quite often. But being 174-178 cm automatically rules you out of contention from being a great fullback?

Thats why im concerned, he obviously wanted Taylor back (even having a so called war chest for him) . So were dose this leave kodi and our future.

Paul Hauff one of the tallest fullbacks I have seen, if not the tallest. Had issues with the low kicks and grubbers but outstanding under the high ball. Size has it's advantages and disadvantages but really if you got the talent, ability to read the opposition kicking game and attitude you can overcome it.

Yeah he is similar, always had a soft spot for him a great club man who's career was cruelly ruined after a nasty shoulder injury in 1992 and he was never the same afterwards, played a huge part in Queensland's win in the 1991 series.
