I've been in England when the Ashes has been on and their coverage is so one-sided it trumps our bias by the length of the Pacific

I can accept it being one sided and biased. That doesn't bother me. It's the childishness of it that shits me. The whole "27yo medium pace bowler" thing at the Gabba and other such childish headlines and back pages. I know the CM is a tabloid these days, but seriously, it's not fit to wipe your arse with.

I thought at best maybe 2 all and England retain the Ashes but to have brought them back to the colony with 3-0 after 3 tests is fantastic.

Anderson's a good bowler in his conditions. Has always seemed a show pony front runner. Doesn't seem to have much of the grit showed by siddle. Interestingly their records are similar. JA has played roughly twice the tests for twice the wickets but Siddle has a slightly better avge.

Weak as water from Swann IMO .. Australian cricket has been through some dark days over the years but you'd never get one of our players retiring AND bailing midway through an ashes series..
