I'd say Phil Hughes is off the radar for a while. I expect Doolan to be next cab off the rank but you just never know.

Does everything at shield level. I reckon in a year or two he will figure it out at test level. You can't continue to dominate a shield level and be a dud. Opportunity coming for him re :Rogers .

I think you might be right but I think his renaissance depends on how Bailey goes with his later in life shot and if White continues his good season.

SA very indifferent against India, on a pitch that you'd think would have been carnage. Kallis retired, Smiths MJ's bunny . Will be fun indeed.

Normally I'd say let's replace him with a specialist batsman but given that Watson is generally only good for a breezy 20-odd, Faulkner would pretty much be a like for like replacement

Who are we batting 3?? I think bringing in a specialist number 3 is the right move.

Watson's been the problem this summer. Has not looked solid except in Perth where it didn't matter.

Yep, exactly, when the pressures right off he makes a ton, however when we really need him we get rubbish.

First drop is the big problem. Warner needs to do more in the first innings of the match as well.

Warner's going to be one of those guys who fails / dominates regularly. That's why we need a 3 with gears. S Smith is impressing me with his patience in the last few digs. Don't think he's a 3 though , not yet.
