Watching NRL 360 and they just showed the interview of Wayne slamming the critics for giving Oates the green light to play.

Kent's response? He was being a big bully, trying to dictate what the media writes up because he doesn't like the narrative that's going on around the club..

Did Wayne take a big runny turd in his weetbix or something?

I don't even understand how Wayne is influencing the narrative based on what he said.

Media was always going to talk about him coming back Wayne said the doctors gave him the all clear and Oates is choosing to play.

Where is the change to the fucking narrative.... what exactly were the media intending to write about before Wayne gave them a legitimate answer??

It's like a throw away line now "blah blah blah Wayne manipulating the media again wah wah wah"

If anything the media manipulate the conversation to get the narrative they want, but no one gives a shit about critics.

Hope they erect a statue of buzz and his cronies outside news HQ so it can be covered in bird shit for eternity

All of the media making a big song and dance about player welfare for Oates playing against Melbourne, yet player welfare apparently wasn't a big enough issue to stop Penrith from playing on immediately after the incident.
