Walters and Green would likely have indicated a preference for their Assistant Coaches as part of the hiring process.

And by all accounts, who they pick as their assistants was a major selling point to them getting the gig.

If memory serves correctly, we didn't have these leak problems prior to Morris' arrival.....speaks for itself really
 
wonder if the board really are split on this coach hire or its just media bullshit..?

Cant afford to have anything less than 100% board approval for the enxt coaching team....

If there are splits then its hardly a auspicious start to our so-called rebuild..

I get pur need for experienced assistants with Walters as head coach, but not sure how Griffin will go with 2 very, very experienced coaches around? A few losses and things could get very prickly/tense

I think there’s a reason he picked two guys that will likely never be head coaches again, or at the very least have no ambition to be.

All the board bar one back Kevvie, one defers and says - I’m not convinced...

= OMG - the board is split...
 
I am worried that Kev will recruit someone like Ash Taylor. Possibly Corey Norman. Potentially Ben Hunt. Maybe Moses Mbye.

If we swap Bird for Hunt I'd be okay with that.

Hunt really doesn't want to play 9, which is where he would add the most value for us.. Which is unfortunate. Would take him at 6 for a few years if Milford and Croft are on their way out.
