OFFICIAL The Kevolution - (Walters new coach of the Broncos)

All good. I was more talking as if I didn’t know if him being back was good or bad, not that he wasn’t coming back. Though the knights could somehow still want to keep him on but that wouldn’t make any sense.

I don't know why we allow players to leave and have the option in their favour of coming back. It happened with Kahu too.. I agree it'd make no sense for Knights to keep him.. They should be trying to keep Watson instead. He's off contract.. Surprised no club has signed him yet.

It’s an embarrassing look but Kahu for 1 year is still better than Kahu for 2 years.

Haha okay just sounded like you two were talking as if he's not already confirmed to be back next year. I don't know if I'm right but I just thought it was pretty much done already.

Wonder if that rumour of Hunt possibly coming back has any truth to it.. Kev does love him.. Macca and Hunt to be reunited?

Would anyone want to swap Bird for Hunt?
Macca won't be back before Nov 1st. If he's back at all, haven't heard anything either way.

I'd definitely swap Hunt for Bird if we can't get Grant. Hunt is a top 5 hooker for mine, but only if the Dragons pay half his salary

Hunt definitely doesn't want to play hooker I don't know what we'd be in for if Kev did sign him.

I agree though, I'd definitely want him to be our 9 if possible. That's his best position and that's where I wanted him to play before he left. I wanted Macca to get moved on and wanted to shift Hunt to 9 in order to create space at 7 to sign someone or to develop someone. (Wanted Ash Taylor to stay at the time)

He still plays it great anyway. Didn't Kev play him at 9 in origin? I think Kev sees him as a 9 too.

Yeah, I just remember him moaning and groaning to foxsports after an nrl game about how he doesnt want to be a hooker, he wants to be a 7.

It was pretty gross to see him doing that publicly. That's probably when Dragons decided he needed to go. You can't have a player undermining the club like that.

I heard Roberts might be returning here on Twitter but I don’t believe it
I will put that one to bed
He will never be welcomed back to the club
Everyone was very relieved when he left
Even Bennett has given up on him now
Kev is looking for players who add not only on the field but also off the field to the club

I still think we’ll end up with Mccullough back here lol
It's pretty likely indeed. We'd need another club to get in a Knights/Brailey situation again to save our asses from that in 2021.

So mitch222 will there be much movement in the off season or is it just wishful thinking?

How has it taken this long for someone at the Broncos to work out that Petero might make a good mentor for the young guys at this club?
Maybe Petero wasn't interested in dealing with the club in the state it was especially with those running it and the head coach? Someone like Kevie who he played alongside with and was a mentor of sorts to him may see it as an opportunity to make things right and mentor players like TPJ.

Things are looking pretty grim for Jimmy if Wayne has even given up on him.

Isn't this usually where the Titans would throw their hat in the ring, they could even sign the contract on his behalf.......................ahhhh just like old times. :smoker:
