It's disappointing isn't it....just how fucken hopeless Wally is in front of the camera. You would have hoped that after nearly 20 fucken years he would have learned how to relax and be himself. I guess you can't be the king at everything....
 
$500K per season on a 2 year deal according to Badel. But negotiations expected to continue tomorrow, may be an option for a 3rd year.

I imagine the same applies to any employees of the club. Having said that, inserting a specific performance clause can be useful if there are specific KPI's required. In any case, an essential term of an employment contract is the satisfactory performance of duties as specified in the job description, and an employee can be disciplined or terminated if they fail to perform accordingly.

Yes agree. Just having a vent. Frustrations creeping out. I guess if you sign a contract to perform a service and don't satisfactorily, Kpi based or not, would be classed as being in breach. My point I guess is if you want to have a truly successful club then it’s more than just the coach that needs his performance monitored and assessed.
We've had very little recruitment of note over the past few seasons and Lockyer comes out recently to announce none in the near future because we're broke.
Our retention is absurd. Paying overs for broken down or over-the-hill plodders and missing out on one of our best. Not because we refused to match a ridiculous offer, because he wasn’t locked in and signed before it got to that stage.
I wish the old-fashion time and motion guys were still around to put a broom through the place to eradicate all the dead wood and flat out incompetence that clearly still exists.
 
p.s. Kent is ranting again about us this time over slothfield story about the club wanting to announce Bellamys signing on Wednesday in a package deal with Walters
